Campaign to protect the highly-endangered Olive Ridley Turtles

Got this through one of the forwards. Took some time to go through the site. I thought of supporting the initiatives. I wanted to congratulate Ashish Fernandes for driving this. As the numbers are evident, the support is increasing and I hope the port is moved. Lets hope for the best!!

You can also take more information and decide to support. For the story, see this -

Weight Loss

Sayali is practicing nutritionist. She has recently got hold of a machine called KARADA Scan. That has a wonderful mechanism which tells you various vital signs like BMI, Viceral Fat Levels, Weight etc. I took the test and I got the shock for the day. I was having all levels revolving on boundry of normal ranges. So I had no second thought that I need to get myself into shape again. So its now a 2 phased process. I need to get well in Normal zone and then move on to be in better shape.

Reflections on Sunday

Yesterday I was thinking of 4-5 points. I am sure that they will have a lasting impact in the years to come on my business and personal life.
When I reflect on these points i realised the corrections that we need to do. Some of them are internalising some of the principles that we already know of.. and some are new habits and attitude that we will require to succeed big time.

Here are the thoughts i had yeserday through today...

Firstly I tried to reflect the INCOME part.We majorly work make a good living for the family. In my opinion a respectable corporate income is 50,000 to 70,000 Rs a month. We know what kind of turnover we will require to have that kind of income.
Today we have a corporate income. For that we have spent a few years schooling, a few years of college and then some corporate experience. Were we 100% clear on why we were studying subjects. Not really...How many times we dared to not to attend classes in college? How many times we dared to flunk the final exams which matter on our marksheets?.... hardly.
If by chance someone has done that - I am sure the degree is still with the University. So donot mess up things that we undertake.

Secondly I spent some time in reflecting RELATIONSHIPS.I always cherished the relationships that I have. In this business or not, I chose to better the relationships. I have to move ahead, humble myself and seek forgiveness for the mistakes i have made. Also forgive people for what they have done to me. I will 'convey' my love and respect to the people who matter most- Family. My father, mother, sisters.. and my soulmate, my son... they deserve a special treatment.

Thirdly I tried to reflect the COMMITMENT part.
I am sure there is no instance of me being non commital for the activities that I take up.But why we are commited ?? We expect some results out of this commitment. The priority of commitment should be as per the sequence. You, H + W, Children, Mentors, Associates....I will be commited to all - to ensure that i will have earn the leadership magnitude...

Then I tried to understand one the most important aspect- DECISION we take in life, in business, in our professional life.
I have spent @ 4 years in developing my business. So now its time for me to take some fundamental decisions. Today I chose to move ahead. Today I chose not to accept failure. Today I chose to respond to increase my leadership. K Leelanand's definition on leadership is one of the best and I chose to implement these through.Magnitude, Followers and Period.... Marvoulous!!!I cannot express , when i think of KL, we feel so heartfelt respect.

Lastly one thing which I am guilty of doing is treating people for the performance not for their potential... I have to do the reverse and speak to their potential not to their performance.
